We would like to invite you to take part in the Children’s Mealtime Study housed at the UMass Medical School/E.K. Shriver Center.
The purpose of the Children’s Mealtime Study is to learn about mealtimes with children with intellectual disability, including those with Down syndrome. The study is interested in the eating patterns, mealtime behaviors, and parent feeding practices of children ages 3-8 years. The long-term goal of this research is to support the development of programs specifically designed for children with intellectual disability and their families.
Study visits can be scheduled during the day or early evening on weekdays, weekends, and on some holidays. We have many convenient locations where study visits can take place, including your home.
You will be compensated $85 in gift cards, and your child will be compensated with a $10 gift card.
Information about the study is also available on our website at http://tinyurl.com/ChildrensMealtimeStudy.
We hope that you will be interested in participating in our study.
